ATLAS is a digital T-Card system designed for tracking personnel and equipment
resources during incidents.
1. Overview
The dashboard is divided into vertically stacked columns representing the lifecycle of a
resource:
- Ordered: Resources that have been requested but haven't arrived.
- Available: Resources checked in and waiting for assignment.
- Assigned: Resources currently working on a task.
- Out of Service: Resources resting, mechanical, or otherwise unavailable.
- Demobilized: Resources released from the incident.
2. Managing Resources
Adding a Resource
- Click the + New Resource button in the top header.
- Fill in the required details:
- Name: Unit ID (e.g., "Engine 19", "Team Alpha").
- Category: Type of resource (e.g., Fire, LE, Logistics).
- Status: Initial status (defaults to "Available").
- Add optional details like Request #, Agency,
POC, and Notes.
- Click Save.
Moving Resources (Changing Status)
You can change a resource's status by dragging and dropping:
- Click and hold a resource card.
- Drag it to the desired status column (e.g., from Available to
Assigned).
- Drop the card. The status will update automatically.
Editing a Resource
- Locate the resource card.
- Click the Edit (Pencil) icon in the top right of the card.
- Modify the fields as needed.
- Click Save Changes.
Viewing Details
- Expand: Click the Down Arrow at the bottom of a card to
see full details (Notes, POC info, timestamps).
- Collapse: Click the Up Arrow to hide details.
Deleting a Resource
- Click the Delete (Trash Can) icon on the card.
- Confirm the action in the popup. Note: This cannot be undone.
3. Data Management
Saving Data
- Auto-Save: The application automatically saves your data to your browser's
local storage every time you make a change. You can close the tab and reopen it without
losing data.
Exporting / Backups
To save a backup or share data:
- Click the Export CSV button.
- A file named
resources_[date].csv will download to your computer.
- This file can be opened in Excel or Google Sheets.
Importing Data
To load data from a previous backup or another device:
- Click the Import CSV button.
- Select a valid CSV file.
- Warning: Importing will REPLACE all currently visible
resources.
4. Tips
- Demob Warnings: If a resource's "Expected Demob" date is within 3 days, the
date will be highlighted in orange/red to alert you.
- Personnel Count: The system automatically totals the number of personnel
("Pax") in each column header.
